Buying a car has got to be one of the most unpleasant experiences we all have to go through.  If someone knows a really easy painful free way of buying a car, well then please let me know. I am in the process of deciding on what to purchase.  Our family is adding drivers in an exponential manner, and two cars are not going to cut it.   We have the usual large vehicle for moving the family around, and then our second car is a Prius.  Getting a car conjures up a lot of conflicting emotional and quantitative comparisons as to what to buy.  We all face it.  Yes, I want to be environmentally sensitive on my next purchase, but something way down inside yearns for that all fashioned muscle car.  Maybe something like that new Camero, as seen in Transformers, or that little Shelby Ford Mustang pony car could fit the muscle car bill nicely.  Or should I get an all wheel drive vehicle that I know can handle the hard Chicago winters?  The Ford Escape is an all four wheel drive small SUV, and comes in a hybrid version. All electric would be nice, but none are on the market, unless you can consider the two-seat Telsa all electric sports car that goes 0-60 in 4 seconds, and has a one-year wait to boot.  Choices, choices, what’s a guy to do?  To top all of this of confusion as to what to buy next, the other issues that play on one’s thought process in deciding, is well maybe we just don’t need another car.  Maybe, we ignore all of those cool looking car commercials, and car magazines, and look at biking around, or using those legs of ours to get around. This would work great if I lived in a city center and worked in the city as well.  But, alas, I’m a suburbanite and stuck with driving distances to get to the places I need to get to.  Or how about a scooter?  Scooters get great gas mileage, but are just terrible in the snow.  It’s a frustrating process, and I’m still undecided as to what to do.  Anyone out there have any good ideas?
