You have to give credit where credit is due.  Both President Obama and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie have set aside partisan politics and are working together to help New Jersey bail itself out of the storm damage caused by Hurricane Sandy.  It was heart warming to see two politically opposite elected officials get together and work to bring relief to the State of New Jersey.  I for one am appreciative of their efforts.  My family owns a home on Long Beach Island, New Jersey.  A beautiful barrier islands that is 5 miles off the coast of NJ.  That island took a direct hit from the hurricane, and in some parts the storm has creamed it.  We’re being told that we cannot get access to our home for another 9 days.  So we have no clue as to the extent of damage that has occurred there.  For me, I am very happy to see Democrats and Republicans doing the job that they were elected to do.  And I’m happier to see in an election year two opposite politicos working, and praising each other, for the devotion and hard work they are bringing to bear to provide relief to New Jersey.  Republicans and Democrats from other parts of the nation need to pay close attention to what is going on here.  We elect you to provide good government and services to the citizens that have elected you.  President Obama and Governor Christie have been outstanding examples of what can be accomplished when both sides find the common ground to fix our nations problems.
