Yesterday’s entry on HR 875 set off some wonderful feedback from you the readers. Nice to see that most of you take notice when Washington tries to pull a fast one. I thought that I’d tone it down for the weekend. Over the pond and not quite through the woods is the flavor for the day. Just spent the last 24 hours trying to cope with jet lag from flying over the pond to the UK. I’m here in the UK to attend the Natural Product Expo the locals put on for everything green. Our company has a stand here, and it’s an important show for us. Next few days I’ll write about it. Worst part about jet lag are the eyes. Body keeps going, but eyes just want to kill you for keeping them open this long. Tried to nap this afternoon, but the hotel I’m staying at neglected to tell me that they are in the process of remodeling. In the back of my sleep deprived mind it sound like I was sitting in the dentists chair with all the drilling that was going on around me. Cool thing so far has been the train ride in from Heathrow and the weather. Just beautiful. Leave it to the English for taking you 15 miles from the airport to the city center in just under 15 minutes. Cool looking fast trains. Well taken care of. Couldn’t imagine taking the L in from O’Hare in under 15 minutes. It wasn’t just the speed, but the smoothness and comfort of the ride. We are so far behind the rest of the world in moving people from point A to B quickly and economically by rail.
